Stake Relief Society Activity

"Every Needful Thing"
Saturday, May 22nd
10 am - 1 pm
Stake Center

The stake has partnered with local charities and will provide several amazing activities: service projects that will benefit the community; food, book and clothing drives; and an expo that will provide information on needs in the area.

Donations can be brought to the church and placed in the green plastic bins or delivered to Virginia Wood's front porch.

BIRTH CENTER
Maxi pads (Always brand 20 ct)
Nursing Pads (reusable and single use)
Lansinoh (Lanolin lotion)
Witch Hazel Products (Tucks, Up & Up - in baby section or pharmacy section)
Burp Pads
Digital Thermometers
Handmade Quilts (see "May Activities" post for times to sew)

DOORWAYS
Shelter for homeless women and children

Cereal
Paper Towels
Laundry detergent
Kitchen size trash bags
Used cell phones

ANGEL HUGS
Provides crochet, knit and sewn baby blankets for special babies who come to this world for only a short time. Established in memory of Abigail Mitarai from our ward.

Hand made blankets or supplies to make blankets:
Bernat baby soft yarn (@ Joanne's Fabric)
Dreft laundry detergent
Gallon & two gallon size Ziploc hefty bags
crochet needles (small/medium)
High quality flannel (baby prints @ Joanne Fabrics)

We will be doing projects for the Million Pillowcase Project, which sews fun pillowcases for children in shelters, hospitals and cancer treatment centers.
